Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Pro has an overall score of 81.4, which is slightly better than the Google Pixel 3a's 78.8 overall score. Although Huawei P20 Pro is older and heavier than the Google Pixel 3a, it's construction is still a little thinner. Both devices we are comparing include Android operating system, but Huawei P20 Pro has the older 10 version while Google Pixel 3a has Android 11 version.
The Google Pixel 3a counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. Huawei P20 Pro features a bit better processing unit than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Huawei P20 Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a lot larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a camera with a much higher 40 MP resolution.
Huawei P20 Pro features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 64 GB more internal memory. Huawei P20 Pro features better battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei P20 Pro, else you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3a, resigning some specs and features.
