Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite has a score of 79.5, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 3a's score of 78.8. The Huawei P40 Lite construction is newer, but just a little thicker and somewhat heavier than the Google Pixel 3a. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Lite has 10 version and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11 version.
Google Pixel 3a features a bit sharper display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2220px, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel number per inch in the display. Huawei P40 Lite has a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has 2 GB more RAM.
Huawei P40 Lite features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 3a, because it has more internal storage. Huawei P40 Lite features a superior camera than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same size aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution and a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a much better battery duration than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Huawei P40 Lite is a better device, it is more expensive than Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 3a. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei P40 Lite, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 3a, giving up some features and specifications.
