Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 is a little bit better than Google Pixel 3a, having an 83.8 score against 78.8. The Galaxy A50 construction is just a little bit thinner but somewhat heavier than Google Pixel 3a, and they were released only a couple months apart. The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a. They have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
Google Pixel 3a has just a bit better display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel count per display inch. Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a very superior memory for applications and games than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Galaxy A50 counts with improved battery life than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity. The Galaxy A50 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a back camera with a way better resolution and a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light situations.
The Galaxy A50 costs a little more money than Google Pixel 3a, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
