Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 is better than Google Pixel 3a, with a score of 87.5 against 78.8. Although Samsung Galaxy A71 and Google Pixel 3a were only released 9 months apart, Samsung Galaxy A71's construction is just a little thinner but also heavier. These phones use the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
Galaxy A71 has just a little better performance than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy A71 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Google Pixel 3a has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2220, it also counts with a bit better pixel count in each inch of screen.
The Galaxy A71 features a very superior storage to install games and applications than Google Pixel 3a, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a lot better camera than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same video resolution and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a much larger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photos and a camera with way more megapixels.
The Galaxy A71 counts with a very superior battery duration than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy A71 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 3a. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 3a, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
