Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a, getting a overall score of 85 against 78.8. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version while Google Pixel 3a has Android 11. Samsung Galaxy M40's design is heavier but a little thinner than Google Pixel 3a, and both were released only 1 months apart.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a greater amount of RAM. Google Pixel 3a counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit lower 1080 x 2220 resolution, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a little longer battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy M40 captures much better videos and photos than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which offers a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a much higher 32 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures.
