Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a, getting an 85.6 score against 78.8. Both phones in this review use the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 body is notably newer and thinner than Google Pixel 3a's, but it's also heavier.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a little bit better screen than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a just a bit worse display pixel density, it also counts with a larger display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2636 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 also has 4 GB more RAM. The Google Pixel 3a shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have the same aperture, the Google Pixel 3a also has a camera with a higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a bit better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 10 percent larger battery size.
Although Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 3a. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip 3, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 3a, letting go some specs and features.
