Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than the Google Pixel 3a, with a score of 94.6 against 78.8. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both of them should provide you very similar OS features. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than Google Pixel 3a, although it's notably heavier.
Google Pixel 3a features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 takes a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lesser MP back facing camera, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Google Pixel 3a, because it has more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a way better battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 3a, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
