Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 3a's overall score of 78.8. Despite being the best in this comparison review, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, notably heavier and much thicker cellphone than the Google Pixel 3a. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a much greater quantity of pixels per inch of screen, a little bit bigger screen and a lot better 2160 x 3840 resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better CPU than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has an external memory slot that allows up to 400 GB.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a, because it has an 18% bigger battery size. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium takes slightly better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same video resolution and a same size diafragm aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a camera in the back with a lot higher 19 mega-pixels resolution.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 3a, resigning a couple specs and features.
