Comparison review

The iPhone 8 Plus is slightly better than Google Pixel 4 XL, getting an 87.1 score against 82.9. IPhone 8 Plus is a incredibly older and a little heavier phone than Google Pixel 4 XL, but Apple was able to build it just a bit thinner anyway. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little sharper display than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a little bit larger display, a lot higher 1440 x 3040 pixels resolution and a greater display pixel density.

The iPhone 8 Plus has a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has 2 lesser and slower cores and less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. IPhone 8 Plus shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, although it has a back facing camera with less megapixels resolution, a lower (4K) video resolution, a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited environments and a tinier camera sensor taking worse quality videos and images.

Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a much better memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has more internal memory capacity. Google Pixel 4 XL features a much longer battery performance than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity.

Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 4 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 4 XL. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Google Pixel 4 XL, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
