The Google Pixel 4 XL has a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch in the display, a larger display and a way better 1440 x 3040 resolution.
The Google Pixel 4 XL features a bit more powerful CPU than Google Pixel, because it has more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Google Pixel's camera is very similar to the camera in Google Pixel 4 XL, because although the Google Pixel has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, it also counts with a back camera with more megapixels and a bigger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
The Google Pixel has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has more internal memory. The Google Pixel 4 XL features a very superior battery duration than Google Pixel, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel 4 XL, else you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel, giving up some features and specs.
