Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 XL is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL, having an 82.9 score against 78.9. Google Pixel 4 XL's design has the same thickness than the Google Pixel 3a XL, but it is somewhat heavier. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little faster CPU than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a bit better display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a bit bigger screen, a higher amount of pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 3040 resolution. The Google Pixel 3a XL's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Google Pixel 4 XL's one, both have equal 64 GB internal storage.
Google Pixel 3a XL's camera is very similar to the camera in Google Pixel 4 XL, and although the Google Pixel 3a XL has a smaller diafragm aperture, they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a 0.39 inches camera sensor, the same (4K) video quality and a same resolution camera.

Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel 4 XL, else you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a couple features and specs.
