Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a score of 82.9, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 4 XL's 82.9 global score. Huawei Mate 20 Pro is an older and a little bit thicker phone than Google Pixel 4 XL, but Huawei was able to make it a bit lighter anyway. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a screen that's very similar to Google Pixel 4 XL's display, although the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a just a little more pixels per inch of display, a slightly higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a little bit bigger display.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. Google Pixel 4 XL features a little bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features just a little bit longer battery life than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a way higher resolution camera in the back and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality videos and photos.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is a bit more expensive than Google Pixel 4 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 4 XL. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, else you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 4 XL, giving up some specifications.
