The Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 4 XL's 82.9 score. Even being the best cellphone in this review, we must tell that it's also a much thicker and much heavier cellphone. Google Pixel 4 XL has a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per screen inch.
Huawei Mate X features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little faster processing unit than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Huawei Mate X features better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 22% more battery capacity. The Google Pixel 4 XL shoots slightly better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a much lower 12.2 MP resolution camera and a lot smaller sensor, it also counts with a larger camera aperture.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 4 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 4 XL. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, else you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 4 XL, giving up some specifications.
