The Google Pixel 4 XL is just a bit better than Moto G8 Power, getting a global score of 82.9 against 76. The Google Pixel 4 XL is a somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter phone than Moto G8 Power, although they were only released with a few months difference. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a slightly better looking screen than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3040px resolution and a higher number of pixels per inch of screen.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Google Pixel 4 XL has a bit better processing power than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has more RAM.

Motorola Moto G8 Power shoots slightly better videos and photos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor which offers a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a F1.7 aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also counts with a camera with a lot better 16 megapixels resolution.

Motorola Moto G8 Power features longer battery duration than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 35 percent larger battery size.

Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G8 Power. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Moto G8 Power, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
