Google Pixel 4 XL has an overall score of 82.9, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 5's score of 79.3. The Google Pixel 4 XL is a way newer phone than Galaxy Note 5, but it is heavier and just a bit thicker. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 7 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy Note 5 features a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel 4 XL, although it has a quite smaller display, a little worse 2560 x 1440 resolution and a quite lower display pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a smaller sensor and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a camera with much more mega-pixels.

The Google Pixel 4 XL costs more money than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
