The Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 4 XL's general score of 82.9. Although it's the best phone in this comparison review, Galaxy Note8 is a incredibly older, a little thicker and a little bit heavier phone than Google Pixel 4 XL. The Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has a just a little greater display density and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3040.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Google Pixel 4 XL features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Note8. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
