The Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit better than the Google Pixel 4 XL, getting a general score of 85.7 against 82.9. The Galaxy S6 Edge is an way older cellphone than Google Pixel 4 XL, but it's somewhat thinner and lighter anyway. Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better CPU than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bits CPU and an extra graphics co-processor.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a sharper screen than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little lower 2560 x 1440px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher display pixel density. Galaxy S6 Edge features a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Google Pixel 4 XL features a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity. Google Pixel 4 XL features a superior camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture and a bigger sensor taking higher quality photographs.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 4 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 4 XL. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 4 XL, resigning a couple features and specs.
