Comparison review
Google Pixel 4 is a bit better than Google Pixel 3 XL, with a global score of 81.9 against 80.7. The Google Pixel 4 body is newer and somewhat lighter than Google Pixel 3 XL's, but it is also just a bit thicker. Google Pixel 3 XL counts with a slightly better screen than Google Pixel 4, because it has a quite larger screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a just a little greater display density.
The Google Pixel 4 has just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Google Pixel 4 also has a higher amount of RAM. Google Pixel 3 XL's camera is just as good as the Google Pixel 4 one, and although the Google Pixel 3 XL has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs or videos in low-light situations, they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a 0.39 inches sensor and a same resolution back facing camera.
The Google Pixel 3 XL counts with as much storage to store more apps and games as Google Pixel 4, they have equal internal memory. The Google Pixel 3 XL has superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3 XL. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 3 XL, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
