Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 is a little bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite, with an 81.9 score against 79.5. Even though Google Pixel 4 and the Huawei P40 Lite were released only a couple months apart, Google Pixel 4 is a little thinner and lighter. The Google Pixel 4 features a little better processing power than Huawei P40 Lite. They have 8 processing cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 4 features a little more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little bit worse 1080 x 2280 resolution, it also counts with a quite higher pixel count per inch of screen. Huawei P40 Lite captures much better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a camera in the back with lot more MP and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
Huawei P40 Lite features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 4, because it has 128 GB internal storage. Huawei P40 Lite has a really longer battery performance than Google Pixel 4, because it has a 50% bigger battery size.
Although Google Pixel 4 is a better device, it costs more money than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel 4, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning a couple specs and features.
