Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 4's score of 81.9. Although it's the best we compare here, Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, notably thicker and heavier phone than the Google Pixel 4. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much sharper display than Google Pixel 4, because it has a little bit larger display, a much greater pixels number per display inch and a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium's processing unit is just as good as Google Pixel 4's processing unit, they have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Google Pixel 4, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium takes slightly better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a much higher resolution camera in the back and a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and photos.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with better battery life than Google Pixel 4, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 4. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 4, letting go a couple specs and features.
