The iPhone 13 is slightly better than the Google Pixel 4a 5G, getting a 91.5 score against 87.5. The iPhone 13 construction is newer and a little thinner than Google Pixel 4a 5G's, although it's also a little heavier. IPhone 13 comes with iOS 15.x operating system, while Google Pixel 4a 5G comes with Android 11 operating system.
The iPhone 13 features a much better looking screen than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels and a little bit higher display pixels density. Apple iPhone 13 has as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as Google Pixel 4a 5G, they have equal 128 GB internal memory.
The iPhone 13 features a better performing processor than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has less CPU cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. The Google Pixel 4a 5G features superior battery duration than iPhone 13, because it has a 20% greater battery capacity.
Google Pixel 4a 5G shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 13, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photos or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also counts with a more mega pixels camera in the back.
Although iPhone 13 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 4a 5G, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 4a 5G. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 13, else you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 4a 5G, letting go a couple features and specs.
