Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a 5G has a score of 87.5, which is just a bit better than LG G8 ThinQ's 84.3 global score. Although Google Pixel 4a 5G is just a bit heavier than LG G8 ThinQ, it's just a bit thinner and also newer. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a 5G has the previous 11 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little better processing power than Google Pixel 4a 5G. They have a 6 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. The LG G8 ThinQ has a brighter display than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a higher pixel density.
Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a little bit better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing photographs in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also counts with a back facing camera with a better resolution and a larger camera sensor taking better quality photos and videos.
LG G8 ThinQ features a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Google Pixel 4a 5G features just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 3885mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
Although Google Pixel 4a 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
