Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a 5G is a little bit better than the Galaxy A51, getting a general score of 87.5 against 85.5. Both of these devices use the same Android 11 operating system. Even though Google Pixel 4a 5G is just a little thicker than the Galaxy A51, it's a bit lighter and newer. The Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also has a larger amount of RAM.
Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy A51, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater number of pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy A51 takes better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a way better resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a much greater memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB. Galaxy A51 counts with a little better battery performance than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 3% bigger battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 4a 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A51, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A51. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A51, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
