Samsung Galaxy Fold is better than Google Pixel 4a 5G, with a global score of 97.6 against 87.5. These phones include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 4a 5G has Android 11 version. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is an older and a lot heavier phone than Google Pixel 4a 5G, but Samsung made it thinner anyway.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM. Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixel number in each inch in the screen.
The Galaxy Fold has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a little longer battery life than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 4380mAh battery size against 3885mAh. The Galaxy Fold's camera is very similar to the Google Pixel 4a 5G one, because although the Galaxy Fold has a camera with less mega pixels and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, and they both have a same size sensor, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and videos.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 4a 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 4a 5G. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a 5G, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
