The Google Pixel 4a 5G has an overall score of 87.5, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 4's 81.6 overall score. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Pixel 4a 5G has a newer 11 version while Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0. The Google Pixel 4a 5G is a much newer device, and it's also just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than Galaxy Note 4.
The Galaxy Note 4 counts with just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has lesser processing cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a GPU. Galaxy Note 4 features a better screen than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater screen density and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because although it has a much lower 12.2 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot larger aperture to capture better photography and video in low-light situations.

If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Note 4, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
