Google Pixel 4a 5G has a global score of 87.5, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 score. The Google Pixel 4a 5G is a heavier phone than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, but both are 0.32inches thick. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Google Pixel 4a 5G has the older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Galaxy S5 Plus's processing unit is just as good as Google Pixel 4a 5G's CPU, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a GPU. Galaxy S5 Plus features a better display than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixel number in each inch in the screen.
Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 39 percent bigger battery capacity.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with a way lower 12.2 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality and a lot larger camera aperture for better low-light photography and videos.
