Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a bit better than Google Pixel 4a 5G, getting a general score of 94.6 against 87.5. Even though Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Google Pixel 4a 5G were released with only a couple of months difference, Galaxy Z Fold 2's body is thinner but incredibly heavier. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 11 operating system.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a little higher pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 6 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a little better battery life than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos, a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a lower 12 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 4a 5G. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a 5G, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
