Google Pixel 4a 5G has a general score of 87.5, which is a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium's 79.8 overall score. Google Pixel 4a 5G's construction is noticeably newer and somewhat lighter, but just a little thicker than the Xperia XZ Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a much better looking screen than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater display pixel density and a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium and Google Pixel 4a 5G have very similar processors, and although the Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xperia XZ Premium has just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a much more megapixels camera in the back and a bigger sensor taking better quality photos and videos.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a bit bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Google Pixel 4a 5G has better battery life than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 20 percent bigger battery size.
