Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a 5G is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with an 87.5 score against 76.6. Google Pixel 4a 5G's construction is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, even when they were only released with a couple months difference. Both of these devices have Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a 5G has newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, so it provides some extra features and performance improvements.
Google Pixel 4a 5G features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also counts with a just a bit better number of pixels in each inch of screen.
Google Pixel 4a 5G features a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features better battery duration than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 29% greater battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures or video in low light environments and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back camera with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution and a way bigger back camera sensor shooting lot better quality pictures and videos.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
