Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a 5G is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, getting a overall score of 87.5 against 81.1. These devices use Android operating system, but Google Pixel 4a 5G has newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10, counting with some nice extra features and optimized performance. The Google Pixel 4a 5G design is a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, even though both of them were released only a couple of months apart.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's processor is just as good as the CPU in Google Pixel 4a 5G, both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM. Google Pixel 4a 5G has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher amount of pixels in each inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a greater storage to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes much better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a lot larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much more MP camera in the back.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features greater battery performance than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 3885mAh.
Although Google Pixel 4a 5G is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you want to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
