Comparison review
The iPhone XS has a general score of 84.2, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 4a's 82.9 score. Although iPhone XS is older and heavier than Google Pixel 4a, it's construction is still just a little thinner. IPhone XS features a quite superior performance than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has less RAM and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
IPhone XS features a bit better looking screen than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have a same size display, the iPhone XS also has a slightly higher 1125 x 2436 pixels resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. IPhone XS shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a camera in the back with a worse resolution, a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures or videos in low light environments and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, they both have a same size sensor.
The Google Pixel 4a features a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Apple iPhone XS, because it has more internal memory. Google Pixel 4a has improved battery performance than iPhone XS, because it has an 18% more battery size.
Although iPhone XS is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 4a. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
