Google Pixel 4a is a bit better than the Google Pixel, getting a general score of 82.9 against 80.2. Google Pixel 4a's design has the same weight than Google Pixel, but it's a little bit thinner. Google Pixel 4a features a bit sharper display than Google Pixel, because it has a larger screen, a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little bit better pixel density.
The Google Pixel 4a counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel, because it has more RAM and a higher number of cores (and they are faster). The Google Pixel counts with as much storage capacity to store more games and applications as Google Pixel 4a, both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Google Pixel 4a has just a little bit longer battery life than Google Pixel, because it has a 3140mAh battery size against 2770mAh. The Google Pixel's camera is very similar to Google Pixel 4a's camera, because although the Google Pixel has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for taking photos and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor taking better quality videos and photos and a back camera with a better resolution.
The Google Pixel 4a is more expensive than the Google Pixel, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
