Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a is a little bit better than Google Pixel 3 XL, getting an 82.9 score against 80.7. Even though Google Pixel 4a is just a bit thicker than Google Pixel 3 XL, it's noticeably lighter and also newer. Google Pixel 3 XL features a little sharper display than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a higher 1440 x 2960px resolution, a just a little better pixel number per inch in the screen and a bit larger display.
Google Pixel 3 XL has just a bit better performance than Google Pixel 4a, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Google Pixel 4a features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Google Pixel 3 XL features just a bit better battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity instead of 3140mAh. The Google Pixel 4a and the Google Pixel 3 XL have really similar cameras, and although the Google Pixel 3 XL has a tinier camera aperture, they both have a back-facing camera with a 12.2 MP resolution, a 0.39 inches back camera sensor, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3 XL. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel 4a, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3 XL, resigning some features and specifications.
