Comparison review
The Google Pixel 5 is just a bit better than Google Pixel 4a, getting an 89 score against 82.9. The Google Pixel 5 design is just a little bit thinner but just a bit heavier than Google Pixel 4a, and both of them were released only 2 months apart. The Google Pixel 5 has a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has more RAM memory.
Google Pixel 4a counts with a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Google Pixel 4a also counts with a just a little greater display density. The Google Pixel 5 has just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a F1.7 diafragm aperture, the same resolution back camera and the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Google Pixel 5 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Google Pixel 4a and Google Pixel 5 feature incredibly similar storage for applications, games, photos and videos, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. Google Pixel 5 features improved battery duration than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 4080mAh battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 4a. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
