The Google Pixel 4a has a score of 82.9, which is slightly better than the HTC One M9's general score of 77.7. The Google Pixel 4a body is much newer, thinner and a bit lighter than the HTC One M9. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Google Pixel 4a has the newer 11 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
The HTC One M9 features a sharper display than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a little lower pixels density, a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a bit smaller screen. The Google Pixel 4a has much more memory capacity for applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
