Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a is a bit better than Huawei P20 Pro, getting a score of 82.9 against 81.4. These phones include Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a has a newer 11 version and Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. Although the Google Pixel 4a is just a little bit thicker than the Huawei P20 Pro, it's extremely lighter and also incredibly newer.
Google Pixel 4a counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display and a bit higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. Huawei P20 Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 4a. They have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Huawei P20 Pro features as much memory to store more games and applications as the Google Pixel 4a one, they have exactly the same internal storage. Huawei P20 Pro counts with greater battery performance than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 27% larger battery size. Huawei P20 Pro features a much better camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a way bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels.
Google Pixel 4a costs a bit more than Huawei P20 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
