Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo, getting an 82.9 score against 78.8. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Google Pixel 4a has 11 version while Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10 version, giving you some nice extra features and performance improvements. Although the Google Pixel 4a and Microsoft Surface Duo were released with only 1 months difference, the Google Pixel 4a design is noticeably lighter but notably thicker than Microsoft Surface Duo.
The Google Pixel 4a has a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a way worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch. Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a little faster processing unit than Google Pixel 4a. They have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM.
Microsoft Surface Duo has as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Google Pixel 4a one, they have exactly the same internal storage. Google Pixel 4a shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Google Pixel 4a also counts with a back camera with more megapixels and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos.
The Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit superior battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 14% more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the Google Pixel 4a is also by far the cheapest one, making it very easy to pick between these phones.
