Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A51 is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 4a, getting an 85.5 score against 82.9. Although Samsung Galaxy A51 and Google Pixel 4a were only released with a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy A51 body is just a little thinner but also somewhat heavier. These phones work with the same Android 11 operating system.
The Google Pixel 4a features a little bit better screen than Galaxy A51, because although it has a little smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixel amount in each inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy A51 has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A51's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Google Pixel 4a, and although the Samsung Galaxy A51 has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Samsung Galaxy A51 shoots better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also counts with a way larger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a camera with a much higher 48 mega pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 features improved battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 27 percent larger battery size.
