Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is much better than Google Pixel 4a's 82.9 overall score. The Galaxy Fold is an older and heavier phone than the Google Pixel 4a, but Samsung was able to build it somewhat thinner anyway. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Galaxy Fold has 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 4a has Android 11 version.
Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger amount of RAM. The Google Pixel 4a counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a much smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater screen density.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Fold takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with less mega-pixels, and they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also counts with a larger aperture.
The Galaxy Fold features a much longer battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 39% larger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 4a. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 4a, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
