Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, with a overall score of 82.9 against 81.2. Google Pixel 4a's body is much newer, a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Google Pixel 4a has the newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0, giving you lots of additional features and a performance increase.
Galaxy Note 3's processor is just as good as the CPU in Google Pixel 4a, because although the Galaxy Note 3 has 4 lesser cores (although faster) and 3 GB less RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, a just a little lower screen pixel density and a bit smaller screen.
The Google Pixel 4a has a slightly better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Google Pixel 4a shoots a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a worse (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a way larger aperture to take better low light photos.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.
Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel 4a, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, giving up a couple features and specifications.
