Comparison review

The Google Pixel 4a has a score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's 81.6 general score. Both phones we compare here use Android operating system, but Google Pixel 4a has newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0, so it counts with some additional features and performance optimizations. The Google Pixel 4a design is newer, somewhat lighter and a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a bit better performance than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a GPU. Galaxy Note 4 has a sharper display than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a quite higher pixels density.

Google Pixel 4a features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note 4 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors and a way tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a bit longer battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 3220mAh battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.

Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 4, letting go a couple features and specs.
