Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 4a's score of 82.9. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, the Galaxy Note8 design is a lot older, extremely heavier and just a little bit thicker than Google Pixel 4a. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Google Pixel 4a has Android 11.

The Galaxy Note8 features a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 4a. Both of them have 8 processing cores and a 6 GB RAM. Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly better display than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a better 1440 x 2960 resolution, a quite greater pixel density and a little bit larger display.

Google Pixel 4a and Galaxy Note8 have really similar cameras, and although the Galaxy Note8 has a back-facing camera with less mega pixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, they both have a same size sensor and a same size camera aperture. The Galaxy Note8 has a bit more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

The Galaxy Note8 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 5% greater battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs more than the Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 4a. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note8, else you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 4a, giving up a couple features and specs.
