Comparison review
Galaxy S20 is better than the Google Pixel 4a, having a score of 94.8 against 82.9. Even though the Galaxy S20 and the Google Pixel 4a were released with only 6 months difference, the Galaxy S20 design is somewhat heavier but also just a little bit thinner than the Google Pixel 4a. Both devices in this comparison review use Android operating system, but Galaxy S20 has a more recent 13 version while Google Pixel 4a has Android 11 version.
The Galaxy S20 features a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S20 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Galaxy S20 counts with a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, a bit bigger display and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy S20 has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy S20 features superior battery performance than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 27% bigger battery size.
Galaxy S20 takes much better videos and photos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a worse 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video quality and a lot larger sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 4a. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 4a, resigning a couple specifications.
