Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit better than the Google Pixel 4a, with an 85.7 score against 82.9. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version while Google Pixel 4a has Android 11 version. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an way older phone than the Google Pixel 4a, but Samsung was able to build it a little lighter and somewhat thinner anyway.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a better looking display than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better screen pixel density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a little bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an additional GPU and a 64-bit processing unit.
Google Pixel 4a captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a much lower resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor and a larger aperture to capture better low-light photography and video. The Galaxy S6 Edge has as much memory capacity for games and applications as Google Pixel 4a, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Google Pixel 4a features superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 21% more battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 4a. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 4a, letting go a couple features and specs.
