Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip has a general score of 88.5, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 4a's 82.9 overall score. The Galaxy Z Flip design is somewhat thinner but noticeably heavier than Google Pixel 4a, and they were released with only 6 months difference. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Z Flip has the newer 12 version while Google Pixel 4a has Android 11 version, giving you lots of additional features and enhanced performance.
Galaxy Z Flip has a little faster processor than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Z Flip also has 2 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Google Pixel 4a count with quite similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a just a little inferior pixels amount per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2636px.
Galaxy Z Flip has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a little better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy Z Flip features a little bit better camera than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a camera with lesser megapixels resolution, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos or videos in low-light environments and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, they both have a same size sensor.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 4a. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 4a, resigning a couple specifications.
