Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 is better than Google Pixel 4a, with a score of 94.6 against 82.9. Galaxy Z Fold 2's body is somewhat thinner but incredibly heavier than the Google Pixel 4a, and they were released with only 1 months difference. These phones use the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should offer identical operating system features.
Google Pixel 4a has a little bit better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a lot smaller display and a way worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels density. Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 6 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting images and/or video in low light environments, a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a worse 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a much bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a way better battery duration than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 43% greater battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 4a. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
