Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a is a bit better than the Xperia 1, with a overall score of 82.9 against 82.6. Google Pixel 4a's body has the same thickness than Xperia 1, but it is somewhat lighter. The Sony Xperia 1 features a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 4a. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount.
The Xperia 1 counts with a more vivid display than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a bit larger screen, a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen. Google Pixel 4a and Sony Xperia 1 both have very similar cameras, because although the Sony Xperia 1 has a worse 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera, a lower (4K) video definition and a tinier back camera sensor, it also counts with a bigger aperture.
The Sony Xperia 1 features a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better battery performance than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 3330mAh battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Google Pixel 4a is also by far the cheapest one.
