Comparison review

The Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is better than the Google Pixel 4a's overall score of 82.9. The Xperia 1 III is a notably heavier cellphone than Google Pixel 4a, but both are equally thin. These phones include the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should provide the user identical OS features.

Xperia 1 III counts with a brighter display than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a quite bigger display, more pixels per inch of display and a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution. Xperia 1 III has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4a, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB.

The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more RAM. Xperia 1 III has a much better camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a lower 12 MP resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 video quality, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Xperia 1 III also counts with a much larger camera sensor which provides a much higher image and video quality.

Xperia 1 III has a much better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 4a. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 4a, letting go a couple specifications.
