The Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is better than the Google Pixel 4a's overall score of 82.9. The Xperia 1 III is a notably heavier cellphone than Google Pixel 4a, but both are equally thin. These phones include the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should provide the user identical OS features.
Xperia 1 III counts with a brighter display than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a quite bigger display, more pixels per inch of display and a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution. Xperia 1 III has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4a, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more RAM. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 4a, letting go a couple specifications.
