Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a has a global score of 82.9, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium's 82.2 score. Google Pixel 4a's design is much newer, incredibly thinner and noticeably lighter than Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better processing power than Google Pixel 4a. They have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much sharper screen than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a lot better count of pixels per screen inch. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium captures slightly better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a back camera with lot more megapixels and a bigger camera sensor.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a little bit longer battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Google Pixel 4a is also by far the cheapest one.
