Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a is a little bit better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, with a overall score of 82.9 against 76.1. The Google Pixel 4a is a lighter and somewhat thinner phone than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, even though both were released with only 8 months difference. These phones use the same Android 11 operating system, so both should count with all the same OS features.
Google Pixel 4a has a bit more powerful processing unit than TCL 20 Pro 5G. They have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor. The Google Pixel 4a features a slightly better looking display than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher number of pixels per display inch.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much better camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting pictures in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also counts with a back camera with much more mega pixels and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and pictures.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that admits up to 1 TB. The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a very superior battery duration than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
